Literature Text

"I love you because you're going to break my heart someday."

"Well that's a bit backwards, isn't it?"

"Not at all."

"You love me... because I'm going to break your heart?"

"Yes."

"Please explain."

"Well, you have beautiful eyes, an attractive body and a warm laugh, but that's not why I love you."

"Okay..."

"What I love about you is your spirit."

"My spirit?"

"Yes. I'm in love with the way your eyes light up when you try to teach me something. I'm in love with the way you can't be tamed and the fact that you'll never settle down in one place.I'm in love with your hopes and dreams, with the very essence of you."

"That's beautiful."

"It's hearbreakingly right."

"How so?"

"You can't be tamed. You won't settle down with or for me. You have places to go, things to see, and lives to change. I won't ever top that. So heartbreak is inevitable. But it's okay. Because I got to love you--who you really are--in the most pure form. And nothing besides that really matters."
I wish I didn't have to title my poems and dialogues because I can never find the right one.

"In the Most Pure Form" would be a good one. That or just "Why." I always use the main theme of the piece as the title, but when that doesn't work, I'll use a word or line from the piece. Hope that helps you in the future.

For example, my new chapter in Butterfly Enigma is called "Confessions" because it has two characters who say "I love you" for the first time as well as two background stories.
